IN PLAIN SIGHT is a feature-length documentary assemblage that weaves the work of several artist-outsiders, in coalition with eighty artists and activists, as they engage in trans-national, trans-media art activations in pursuit of collective liberation. Committed to the eradication of all borders and binaries, these artists create highly public activations through site-specific sky-typing, dance performances, and creative refusals with the intention of centering interdependence in movements for freedom. Supported by the Ford Foundation JustFilms, The Bertha Foundation, and Open Society and the Soros Justice Fellowship.
